3.8% Sodium Citrate Tubes (0.129 mol/L) are designed for accurate coagulation studies such as PT, APTT, INR, and other blood clotting tests. The buffered sodium citrate works as an anticoagulant by binding calcium ions to prevent blood from clotting prior to lab analysis.

The additive-to-blood 1:9 ratio ensures reliability in results. Available in PET or glass, and sealed in aluminum-plastic vacuum packaging to maintain sterility.

🧪 Recommended Use:

• Gently invert the tube 6–8 times immediately after blood draw.

• Maintain strict 1:9 ratio of citrate to blood.

• Centrifuge Conditions:

  • PRP: 150g for 5 minutes

  • PPP: 1500–2000g for 10 minutes

  • PFP: 2500–3000g for 25 minutes
